Steiner/Waldorf Childcare Course from Birth to Five

Developed out of the growing demand for Steiner/Waldorf Childcare, this comprehensive part-time course aims to equip Parents, Educators, childcare providers, and playgroup leaders with the essential tools to create a warm and nourishing environment for the children in their care.

Presented by some of our most experienced Early Childhood educators, the course covers in-depth talks and practical workshops on child development and the art of conscious caring to prepare participants with the necessary foundational knowledge of Steiner/Waldorf education.

Presented online via weekly webinars from February to September, with one 3 day in-person Seminar in April 2026.

This self-paced, modular course is ideal for parents, carers, and educators new or experienced, in providing education at home. Carefully curated to provide support and inspiration in creating a developmentally aligned approach, rooted in the principles of Steiner/Waldorf education.

From the early years through to the primary years, participants will explore practical, artistic and philosophically enriching modules that aim to bring Steiner education to life in your own home.

The part-time Steiner Early Childhood Education training program is the most comprehensive of its kind in Australia, and internationally recognised by IASWECE.

The first-year Foundation offers a thorough and well-rounded understanding of Steiner/Waldorf early childhood education, blending theoretical, practical, and creative elements to prepare educators for teaching in a Steiner/Waldorf early childhood environment.

Equally suited to parents and carers, the first-year course offers a meaningful way to deepen understanding of Steiner education and enrich the home environment.

Delivered online via weekly webinars and two 5-day in-person seminars.

Upon successful completion, students may continue to the second-year Certificate Course (ECC) to complete the internationally recognised training.

A Lecture-only option (ECFW) is available online for non-teaching participants.

Learn practical applications and knowledge on biodynamic agriculture and its meaningful celebration of the alchemy of minerals, plants, animals, and humans in nature which offers real solutions to the prevailing question of all ages: “What Can I/We do?” in this promising era.
