Cert III Course in Early Childhood Education and Care for Family Day Care Providers
Due to a growing demand for registered Steiner-inspired, home-based Family Daycares, Sydney Rudolf Steiner College has developed a comprehensive part-time course in collaboration with the NSW Family Day Care Association/PEAK Training.
The course aims to equip Educators, Parents and Carers with the essential tools to set up and run their own registered Family Day Care environment, as well as to awaken the art of professional caring, supporting the development of understanding, skills and attitudes for working with the very young child in the first three years of life.
The course includes: The Art of Caring, a Steiner-based approach to Childcare presented by Sydney Rudolf Steiner College (SRSC), originally developed by Dr. Renate Long-Breipohl; and the CHC3121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (NSWFDCA/PEAK Training)
Course details are still to be finalised, but planned to run from February to November 2024 over 10 Saturdays (subject to final confirmation). The course will be delivered in person in Sydney.
