Part-Time Steiner Training Programs

Sydney Rudolf Steiner College courses for early childhood, primary teaching and high school teaching to prepare Steiner/Waldorf teachers

Your journey in Steiner education begins here.

Be inspired, awaken your creativity, and gain new perspectives towards a fulfilling and meaningful approach to education.

To be a Steiner Teacher is to truly see each child and to educate not just their minds, but their whole being, head, heart, and hands. To understand deeply their natural course of development, and to grow with them. To help them see and understand the world around them and to prepare them for a life of meaning, of purpose, and a lifelong love for learning.

As a leader in contemporary Steiner teacher training in Australia, Sydney Rudolf Steiner College offers comprehensive teacher training programs for Early Childhood, Primary, and High School that focus not only on the pedagogy and curriculum, but also the essential inner development of the teacher, providing a well-rounded and nourishing experience of Steiner education that will enable teachers to confidently enter into teaching at a Steiner/Waldorf school.

Our teacher training programs equip educators with a deeper understanding of their task, how to meet the individual child and the group, and how to engage practically with the children in their care, managing relationships, as well as emotional, social, and academic well-being.

These are not quick outcomes-based courses, but rigorous, and deeply rewarding part-time programs that provide the quality of content and level of training required for teaching in a Steiner/Waldorf classroom.

‘The true teachers and educators are not those who have learned pedagogy as the science of dealing with children, but those in whom pedagogy has awakened through understanding the human being’.
