Safeguarding the Magic of Childhood

Early Childhood Sydney Rudolf Steiner College

Study the Foundations of Early Childhood (Distance) in 2020 and deepen your appreciation and insight into the beauty of the early years.

Are you interested in finding about Rudolf Steiner’s child development insights? Do you want to understand how, as a parent, child care professional, or grandparent, you can play a pivotal role in safeguarding the wonder of childhood?

The Foundations in Rudolf Steiner Early Childhood is run by distance with two face-to-face Intensives held at Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School school in Castlecrag over two weeks in 2020.

Intensive dates are: April 15-19 & 28 Sept-2 October 2020.

What will you study?

You will gain a comprehensive overview of Rudolf Steiner’s picture of child development through the study of anthroposophy, and life stages. The course also includes an immersion in art and craft as well as Eurythmy. Doll making, baking, painting, and drawing are some of the creative experiences covered.

Why study with the Sydney Rudolf Steiner College?

The Sydney Rudolf Steiner College has been teaching early childhood education studies for longer than any organisation in Australia. Our team of tutors are leading figures in this realm and bring decades of experience to our program.

If you do this program what will you obtain?

Having the Foundations in Rudolf Steiner Early Childhood (EC05) is the minimum requirement needed to be an assistant in a Steiner Early Childhood setting.

If you’re a grandparent or parent, doing this course will broaden your network of support and affirm your commitment to consciously caring for children. It will inspire you and deepen your wisdom.

Graduates of this course are then able to apply to study the next level, the Certificate in Rudolf Steiner Early Childhood Education or EC02. This course will run in 2021 so next year is a great year to get started with the Foundations and continue on in 2021.
