Course Overview
This course will provide participants with a thorough foundation in the technique and practice of blackboard drawing. Through practice and experimentation with a range of chalkboard images and techniques there will be an opportunity for participants to gain confidence in drawing, helping to expand on classroom teaching methodology in order to plan and organise meaningful teaching programs. Mastery of these techniques allows teachers to produce creative and aesthetic drawings which enrich learning activities for a range of primary and high school age groups. By sharing their knowledge and experiences with other teachers through a final live Zoom, participants will be able to develop collaborative networks which encourage better learning practices.

What our Students Say
“As a teacher who has done a fair amount of Waldorf related PD, I can honestly say this was one of the most practical, hands on and useful workshops I remember being involved in. I found Raphaela’s delivery to be highly accessible and insightful, and I look forward to implementing what I’ve learnt in the classroom.” JG
____
“This course was exactly what I needed, as though it was created just for me. I found Raphaela’s presentation inspiring, easy to follow, and thorough. I very much recommend this
course for those who think they cannot draw on a blackboard.” M
